Trying to write and direct an accurate science fiction movie is no easy feat, especially when there are so many people willing to tell when you’re wrong. The nothingness of space awaits anyone who gets separated from their ship, and that’s what the characters in Gravity were trying to avoid.

They are forced to cut the rope as Kowalski is pulling Stone out with him. In reality that could have been prevented with a tug toward Stone, as the rope was more than capable of holding them both as they were in the same orbit. Those who know a fair bit about science were keen to point out that this could have completely ended the issue in the whole film.

La La Land (2016)

La La Land had everyone going gaga when it came out in 2016. The film transported us all back to the golden age of Hollywood with Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling doing their best Fred Astaire and Judy Garland impressions. It was the movie that took it all home during the 2017 awards season, managing to win a total of six Oscars and 237 other awards.

For many, the film was flawless, but there was one scene which raised a few eyebrows. Mia heads to the cafe to meet Sebastian with a little yellow handbag. When she leaves the cafe, she then has a huge red bag that came from nowhere. As there are plenty of different colors in the film, in what people wear and in their accessories, perhaps it was supposed to be a part of it. Maybe?

Whiplash (2014)

Miles Teller stars in Whiplash, a musical drama about a wannabe jazz drummer. Teller’s character, Andrew, enrolls in a jazz music class with a pretty tough teacher in the hopes of making his dreams become a reality. The downside is he must suffer the abuse from his teacher to get that success.

J. K. Simmons plays the role of Fletcher, the tough-talking teacher with some harsh punishments. However, there’s one big flaw in one of the scenes. When Andrew’s band plays “Whiplash” for the first time, the piano keys don’t match up to how the music sounds. (más…)
